Malnutrition is the common complication of dialysis. The best way to avoid this situation is a proper handled diet. It is estimated that malnutrition occurs in about half of the dialysis patients. Occurrence of malnutrition has much adverse effect to the patients, including increased incidence of heart failure and myocardial infarction, accelerated deteriorating of renal function as well as increased death rate. For this reason, dialysis patients must follow a healthy diet to prevent this situation.
